Hello everyone, please come to my aid. I drive a Nissan Maxima 2010.

It suddenly started overheating in January, I replaced the radiator, no changes, I replaced the thermostat, no changes, I replaced the water pump, it has only gotten worse. My mechanics don't know what to do anymore.

Has anyone experienced similar problem? What could be the underlying cause?

The car overheats within 5 minutes of driving but can be on idle for 25 minutes without overheating. I'll appreciate your responses.

Did you change your radiator cap & reservoir cap when you change your radiator? If no, change them.

Fuel economy is the most insignificant factor here. For such engines, you need them to reach optimal operating temperature and that they're not ran few minutes which will in-turn cause challenges.
Morning Chief,
I trust you are doing great. I need your advice. I have been using my 2006 FX35 for over 3 yrs now and it's been a reliable vehicle all this times. With routine maintenance, it has never let me down (apart from a day my camshaft sensor failed on me, go it replaced and was back on the road).
Now, I've grown over the car and i want to upgrade to the 2009 face-lift model. Although at times, i think the shark face is ugly but I'm in love with the interior aesthetics, the side view, rear and i need more power (300hp).
Biko, is the 2nd gen fx35 as reliable as the first gen? I know the VQ is a reliable workhorse but how about the 7 speed transmission? Is it as reliable as the 5speed trans I'm already used to? Please i need your input as regards it's GENERAL RELIABILITY. Thanks Sir!

Greetings brother man, the 2nd gen FX is reliable. It's engine VQ37 was a further improvement upon the already very potent VQ35. The 7sp was also an improvement on the 5sp.

The 7 speed has its well documented issues but nothing you can't live with.
