Yeah, it's very possible. I suppose this is a decking area, Design has to be lite and simple.

Personally not a fan of tubs since the day I had an accident in one, but I think your client should make his choice based on budget, type of wash hand basin and type of toilet door installed. I think if the bathroom has enough space for a tub, then it can also contain a cubicle, but probably locally made to fit the space. So space shouldn't be a factor here.

If he wants to install a counter-top wash hand basin like the one in the lower picture or has a wooden toilet door, then a cubicle would be best to prevent water from slashing on the wooden cabinet and door. Other than this, it pretty much depends on his personal preference and his budget.
