BAT is a poor public speaker. He clearly struggles with fluency in delivery...and that is a problem that may (or may not) be age related. But the causes of this lack of fluency are secondary - the effects are far more important. It is difficult for listeners to follow BAT's train of thought as expressed and this takes a lot away from whatever point he wishes to make. His malapropisms are still very much around - what exactly is a "two engine problem in a very turbulent situation"? His response to the question on instability in the Sahel was fair...it could have been a lot better but we'll take what we can get... |
