Now let me teach you something, the least studio apartment (one room with kitchen and toilet) is 35k rubles monthly, that’s about 550k naira Nigerias yearly rent for same amount, now you say the minimum wage in Russia is 19k, Russia is rich but it doesn’t equate to the life of the average Russian, they live on loans. Now in terms of availability of jobs, washing of plates and English teaching job is the best you can get, even the Russians are competing for the teaching job. The Tajiks and other foreigners are fighting for the few available jobs left. I don’t say what I’m not sure of, In terms of standard of living Russia is just one step if not same level with Nigeria
.

I see. Well, I just made my point based on what the other guy said, it looks like food is a lot cheaper over there

Every country have its ups and down , stop this mentality that only western countries are perfect people still migrate from uk & Canada. There’s no country that’s immune from that .

All am saying is that you can have a comfortable life in Russia and some of those countries the west antagonize. what is going on is power play and politics to country the world economy.

Yes every country have its up and downs but we are quick to look down on Nigeria and uplift other country because they are in Europe. Nigeria is far better than some European countries, if you nor travel you nor go ever know

People are just laundering money in Abuja in the name of tenancy. It is time to start arresting those criminal landlords.

Exactly, I don’t criticize Nigeria online no matter what , if you support Nigeria online they’ll tag you Agbado, they don’t know people rely more on those on ratings to what the government is saying officially online .

Only diplomat rely mostly on what comes out from Nigeria authority , individual people rely on Wikipedia which these gullible bastardize online with their comments. Some of them lack exposure that’s why they think some countries are spotless.
You can’t lynch an American , Russian or Chinese online no matter their crime but Nigerians are killed online by the same people who make Nigeria look hopeless online and expect respect , the politicians you think you’re doing will enter these countries as diplomat with maximum security.

Fun fact. In Russia, federal school hostel
A room,
24/7 fast wifi,
washing machine and laundry equipments,
gym equipments,
24/7 electricity,
a kitchen with microwave, fridge and deep freezer (that we rarely use since temperature outside is about ten times colder than the freezer in winter😂)
Toilet and bath with 24/7 cold and boiling water tap (kitchen too)
24/7 central heating in the room

All these facilities mentioned for two students per apartment.
Guess how much we pay per month?
Well in my school it is 'expensive' and we only pay 1250 rubles a month. Approximately 15k naira. grin grin
Some federal schools in Moscow students pay $400 rubles a month about 5 to 6k depending on the rate of naira.

The way I stream movies, football, games and several medical videos, honestly I wonder if I can ever survive in Nigeria again .
Food is expensive in my city but a whole wild bird (tastes like old layers and duck, about the size of a prime layers) is 240 rubles. About 3.5k
.
Can 3.5k buy a complete chicken in Nigeria even if it is layers?
I pray God helps the current president to build up our economy and solve our infrastructure problems.
To make studying easier. All my African brothers work at the same place. It's like we got the contract to do the dishes at the restaurant. If you need money or you are broke, just tell the African brothers you want to wash today or maybe tomorrow cux you need money. Regardless everyone has a day in a week that they must go and work. 6pm to 4am. 2,400 rubles.
Which means the wage from a job of about 8 hours can buy 8 complete chicken/wild bird.
This is what a good economy is, I believe.
I am a United States fan (but not England and colonialists) but I believe if Russia had decided to colonize just one African country, that country would have been the number one most successful African country today.

Forget Baba Tinubu. The English people are the originator of our problems.

This people don't realize what they are trying to do.

Should they introduce this madness , watch how rent of 30k a month will jump to 100k a month. Which is worse, the monthly or yearly.

Nigeria is one of the few countries where accomodations is affordable because of its yearly payment system. Just do mistake and introduce that monthly system and watch how landlord will gradually increase the rent by 5x before you realize it, the money that is usually used for yearly rent payment will become monthly.

This guys don't have sense
Don’t mind them, sometimes I wonder how they think? Instead of them to see how to regulate the amount landlords collect, they want to compound the problem

Why comparing student life that is subsidized to the average working man. You should mention the average cost of ordinary studio rent in Russia, the average salary. I’m not a fan of Nigeria government but Russia is not it also, Russia is just one step ahead of Nigeria in terms of currency .
Try convert your 2400 rubles per day work to dollar or euro and then you will know you are in a stupid country
Your last sentence says everything about you. What your $500 euros can not get you in England, as long as my 400 rubles can get it for me in Russia, I am good. only clowns and ignorant people value money by exchange rate. The value of money is in it's purchasing power.

Apart from Afghanistan, the other two countries has an economy that is better than 90% of African countries. Do your research. Besides, these are Islamic countries with peculiar problems.
.
Think of Armenia, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, Latvia
Many of these are European countries that Africans are now begging for their visas

Can u compare these with the European countries with western influences? Like lichenstein, Luxemburg, monaco etc.. Either way u look at it the western countries, and their sphere of influence are better than Russia spheres of influence in direct comparisons.. It is self delusion to think otherwise...

Well do you know Russia is subsidizing all these things for Africa because they see us as 'poor' and over exploited by Europeans? Russians pay twice what we pay as tuition.

My tuition is 3.6million a year. It is subsidized not free. Except you are okay if, let's say, petrol becomes 5k per litter in Nigeria since you have decided to hate good free things.

The fall of naira does not affect anything in Russia.
It only increases the value of rubles when you try to send money to Nigeria. But when you try to receive money from Nigeria....it is a sad story
