There is this particular trend amidst some people have met, that their 'exes' must always be miserable without them. Even some guys would wish their ex falls into a wife beater or an abuser lap, so for the unfortunate ladies to know their worth.
I once had a girl who gave me everything, she was an angel personified but we just drifted apart with distance. I want nothing but the best for her.
And there is this another one i had, the type Bruno Mars sang about in Grenade who take and take but never gave anything, she even got pregnant for another person while we were still together. Do i want her to be miserable? No. Just to be given black face one in a while.
Do you want your ex miserable?

That they are ex's doesn't make them less human. Why should you wish another human evil cos they happened to be your ex? What happened to live and let live?

Your ex is your ex. Stop thinking about them in the first place, and move on.

I hear you. Why should you wish another evil? Makeihear.evil.com

You all are just being politically correct.

So If a guy trains a girl in school and she dumps him upon graduation. You expect him to cook indomie for the girl? Why then do people pour acid on others. The same applies to guys who use and waste women's time only to dump them later with a lame reason.
Only if you could search your inner self and see yearning for karma to expedite action.
It's a different kettle of fish when both parted on a good note say genotype incompatibility and the ilk.

Not all ex's are human, some are snake in human clothing.
Some ex impact u positively, while some can turn you to a walking dead man(or woman).
But all in all we should move on,and try to forgive those that hurt us,if not for anything but for our sakes.

Why should a guy train a girl in school? Is he her father? Who puts his hand in fire and does not get burnt? Why should a guy or girl always start what they cannot finish?

If a girl steals my money, I'll pray for justice to be done. . .

If I'm foolish enough to train a girl who isn't my wife in school and she jilts me, why should I call for justice to be done on what came upon me as a result of my own stupidity?

You can't just say its stupidity simply because it went sour. The fact that a member of gang decides to shoot others and take the booty alone doesn't ipso facto mean that the ones shot are stupid. One of my uncles trained wife in varsity. Today she is a lawyer and they live happily.

That he trained his wife and married her and they live happily, does it take away the fact that training her wasn't his responsibility? Would you have blamed the lady if she refused to marry your uncle?

If a gang member shoots others, the others have already paid the price of their stupidity for being in a gang in the first place.

Just look at the un african way you are viewing responsibility. In this part of the world people sponsor their in laws for further studies abroad.
In this same part if the world, parents of modest means might sponsor the first son and they and the society expect that he the first son wilm help in training the younger siblings and he will be frowned upon if he is derelict in this. Now is it the responsibility of an in law or in the latter case the first son to live up to these expectations?

Respecting the gang I cited early on, no others are not stupid, they were just being fair. Don't becloud your sensebif judgement with illegality of the enchilada. Because such act of treachery could equally apply in legal affairs, I have seen a case where a guy killed the friend and took the money with which they wanted to go to market with in Lagos.

Do you want your ex miserable?

No I wouldn't want to see her miserable.

My reasons aren't far-fetched.

I once adored her, I once loved her and I once wanted the best for her.

The duty to care would always be there. It can't change.

I try to maintain a cordial relationship with my exes. I chat them up, call them up, hang out with them, render a helping hand etc.

I'm not one of those guys who on their quest to erase their painful past, would end up storing chagrins for their exes.

Life cannot always be what it seems to be,why do I say so? Its means,Defense mechanism to make you feel better but your real person wouldn't want her miserable, its just your ego playing out.its natural tho because we think and feel.
Re: Would You Want Your Ex Happy Or Miserable by Afrok(m): 11:39am On Nov 02, 2014
