I've been in the midst of African Americans and people ask if I'm related to them or if I'm a certain person's daughter, etc. They can only know I'm not one of them when I speak. So what really is the "African American" feature that makes a typical Nigerian girl so different from them? |

Delusions of Grandeur and Patriotism dominates this thread, why can't we just face the truth even when it's so obvious I call it the way I see it, now if we are talking in terms of petroleum and natural resources I can boldly admit to the fact that we are heads and shoulders above our African counterparts, lets just call a spade a spade. but in the context of the country with the highest proportion/percentage of beautiful girls in Africa, countries like Ethiopia, Uganda holds it down not just for me but for other neutral African brothers I have met (guys from ghana,Ivorycoast,southAfrica et al) have all testified to this bold claim. |

hahaha, wtf is wit these threads recently. is this a response to the somalian girls are finest thread? well, the OP basically confirms what the somalian girls thread talks about. Take a look at those girls you posted. what is common in all of them? caucasoid features yeah? small(ish) noses, and lips, light skins, thin bodies, etc, basically i'm with princek12. it's about proportion isn't it. the kind of features african men of today find attractive in a woman, there is a higher proportion of ethiopian and somalian women with those features. By far! the draw-back to somalian women used to be their horse-like smiles but modern dentistry fixed that. personally, i think somalia has the highest proportion of such women. light skin, svelte bodies, small symetrical facial features. closely followed by ethiopia. and then all the other similar tribes in africa, the fulani of west africa, tutsis etc, nothern sudanese, etc. |

stillwater: Let me repeat myself. . . .I said that most of the pictures being posted are of women with AA/ White women features. My assumption: That's what our ladies and men glorify as beauty. On the Somali thread, to oppose the statement Somali/Horn of Africa women "are"more beautiful than West African women, our men started possting pictures of Naija women with same features as East African women. I don't care which is more beautiful, it's their symbol of beauty that I'm questioning. |

African men of today (and perhaps the past too) do prefer those features. it is what it is. take consolation in the fact that men from countries or parts of the world where those features are in abundance also prefer traits that our west african women have in abundance. thick lips et al. |
