However what you should have said and what is indeed true is that this isn't their main source of income. You can't be earning less than N400k a month and have properties worth N100s of millions. That's where the whole corruption thing comes into play.
There's another lesson to take from here and it's all these people that lie about how much they earn as salary, essentially by claiming to make millions. Even the Senate President's official salary after tax is less than N500k a month. Even the President of Nigeria earns officially less than a N900k after tax a month.
Then you'll hear one jumped up little sh*t claiming Oil and gas engineer that he is making millions. People should learn to tell the truth.
