Most times, We do read through the Acts of Apostles and rarely bother to find out what exactly these Men all did, and how we can find similarities and at least solutions to most of the challenges faced by them. Especially when be remember these were all historical events.



It was a new era altogether and despite The presence of the Holy Spirit, all was not rosy as seemed, at least due to personal stubborness, ego, or alignment with the Spiritby some.


Its not just for hearsay when Paul affirmed

"Where the Spirit of God is, there is Liberty"


He was talking from a lot of experience there.


Well, lets see how the church faired with both the Missionary and Evangelistic Work they were saddled with by Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit......

From the ascension of Jesus, AD 30, to the imprisonment of Paul at Rome, (Most likely AD 60), the Apostles did not, originally, comprehend the breadth of the Great Commission as handed to them by Christ.(Mt 28:19 and Mk 16:15)


They sought to establish a Jewish Christian Church consisting of converted Jews, and Jewish Proselytes.


Later, through the enlightening of the Holy Spirit they recognized the universality of the gospel call, and admitted Gentiles into full Fellowship.
