While many nations and Governments are paying SERIOUS attention to the development of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics development, Nigeria is basically not prepared.

NIGERIAN ADVOCATES FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPMENT (NAAID) is a nonprofit committed to the promotion of researches and a development of an Artificial Intelligence research and regulatory agency in Nigeria.

WHAT IS AI

AI technology is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems such as speech recognition and machine vision.

It is an area of computer science that emphasises the creation of intelligent machines such as robots that work and react like humans, as well as perform chores done by humans.

According to LinkedIn's 2020 Emerging Jobs report, Artificial Intelligence specialists emerged number one, with 74% annual growth over the last four years. Employers across the globe want AI experts skilled in Machine learning, Python, natural language processing and Platforms such as Tensor.

With a steady growth of freelancing and the possibility of programmers to work on projects anywhere in the world, remotely from the comfort of their homes, training AI experts will not only create Jobs but will also attract foreign income earnings.

India as a third world country, is already cashing into the growth of Artificial Intelligence and freelancing which skyrocketed with the outbreak of Covid-19. Currently, there are over 15 million Freelancers in India, with an estimated annual contributions of $400 Billion to its National GDP.
