Almost all the new naira notes printed and made available to all commercial banks have been hijacked by politicians and people in the high places who had in store undisclosed amount of the old notes. Thereby leaving the banks with very few to go round.

Naija is a war zone. CBN no longer control commercial banks in Naija. Everyone now has his own government and power.
