I stop work at 3pm and make sure to cross this road before serious traffic builds.

I see lots of vehicles, trucks and tankers that are not road worthy, but the Police and FRS always prefer stopping new vehicles, looking for their lost placenta.

I hope the contractor handling that road speed things up.

Sometimes the accident are preventable most truck carrying containers and other goods are not road worthy for the loads they carry .
Locally fabricated oil trucks as soon as they fall their content start to spill ,whereas the reverse is the case with properly constructed trucks that are imported.
The articulated vehicles carrying heavy objects usually bend or break at the middle of the truck.
Quality control and proper inspection is required before certification to operate.
May the souls of those roasted by fire rest in peace ,their soul will not experience agony in after life . To those that lose property God will give them solace to bear the loss and provide means to recover.

RIP to the dead.

This is one of the reasons I keep saying our society is s bad one. Everyone keeps blaming the government (although they share some blame anyway) but no one is ready to take responsibility by doing the right thing.
We have made coward out of those that chose to do the right thing and everyone doing any how is the order of the day.
Imagine, our laws only apprehends the poor and less connected in the society,
The people in charge of certifications and sanctions are looking for money they didn't work for and call it smartness.
Our law enforcement officers had turn them selves to tax collectors on our roads, anyone trying to raise a voice is tagged anti-government by co-citizens suffering the same thing.
Until we wake up to reorientated ourselves on how we want our society to work, we keep typing RIP to s avoidable deaths and losses. Unfortunately, we don't know who may be next victim!

It's actually you that dont seem to know what damage fire can do. Get covered by fire and water in separate experiments for just 1 minute, then you'll understand...

Why are petroleum laden tankers moving at rush hour periods, normally they should always move from 6pm when roads are less congested but what do I know.

Where is caution in Nigeria..?
Why do we take Life for granted?
Where is precaution? Where is safety..?
Y do we act as though we kept extra Lives elsewhere?
Y do we always leave everything in the hands of God?
Y so much carelessness and senselessness?
When are we gonna start improving?
The worst is, our kids keep learning same shit 😭

No insurance cover.

I thought when a place is cordoned off, it means police line and investigation is ongoing, so no one crosses it. So, what are people doing inside the cordoned perimeter?

This country is something else, I bet the police don’t even know their duty.

Anyways, a country ruled by idiots will always be worthless.

This road is much shorter and more important than the proposed coastal road. But instead of Tinubu to work on it, the foolish drug lord decided to enrich his Lebanese friends and cronies in the wild goose chase he called coastal road.

Spit!

I don’t even know what you’re trying to do by absolving the government of blame. However, just know it today that every functional society in the world is majorly due to visionary leadership. Nigerians would also act right if they have good leadership.

What differentiates primitive societies and modern/civilized ones is basically laws! Who makes laws? Leadership/government! Who enforces or regulates laws? Leadership/government! When there is absence of it, the society degenerates!

Why do Nigerians become law abiding citizens when they travel to the West? Also, why do Westerners become corrupt and lawless when they come to Nigeria? There lies your answer!

Never blame the people, the useless and irresponsible leadership in Nigeria are to be blamed!!!

It is only in Nigeria that driving profession is so belittled and left to illiterates. And this is the reason for most accidents on Nigerian roads.
Once you know the breaks and the accelerator. You are a driver. Some drivers cannot even read talkless of knowing road sign.
May the almighty keep us safe

Why my mind been dey tell me say na human sacrifice considering the political tug of war going on in that state?
I don try to remove that nonsense thought for my mind but it's still there.

PS: Most of the fire accident victims must have bemoaned the death of Junior Pope, not knowing that theirs were around the corner and would be worse than that of Jp.

Moral of it all - keep pleading for Mercy and the Blood of Jesus Christ upon head and those of your loved ones for the devil is going about like a wounded lion seeking whom to devour
