The 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) started on April 19, 2024 and it will end on Monday 29, 2024 as scheduled by the The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Candidates who have issues at their CBT centers and was not able to sit for their UTME on their earlier fixed date has been rescheduled, so the exam will finish on 29th as previously mentioned with no extension.

The JAMB results for 2024 has been officially released, in this post you will get to know how to check your JAMB results using two methods:

1. Using the JAMB Result checking portal
2, Using SMS 55019 or 66019

How to Check JAMB Result using SMS

To check your JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) results using the 55019 or 66019 code, follow these steps:

1. Ensure you have the phone number you used during your JAMB registration available.
2. Open the messaging app on your phone (SMS).
3.Compose a new message, type "RESULT" followed by a space.
4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the message body.
5. Send the message to either 55019 or 66019.

For example: RESULT 12345678AB (Replace "12345678AB" with your JAMB Registration Number).

After sending the message, you should receive your JAMB result as an SMS shortly. Be sure to have sufficient balance on your phone, as charges may apply for sending the SMS.

How to Check JAMB Result using Result checking Portal

To check your JAMB result via the result checking portal:

1. Visit the official JAMB result checking portal at https://edustuff.com.ng/jamb-result-checker/
2. Input your JAMB Registration Number or email address.
3. Click on "Check My Result" or similar button.
4. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
