If Global Com was behaving like Dangote air time will not be charging per second as it is today and it would have cost up to 1K per minute and people like you might not be able to afford it. MasterTeeUSA: 1 Like |

Imagine, only one man milking the the country., given great leverage over others and monopoly also. Extraction of limestone in Nigeria and selling cement expensive in Nigeria, as well as shipping to other neighbouring when the locals are not satisfied is insensitivity. Na government I blame. Since Dangote has most the monopoly in Nigeria Market, what has Nigerians actually benefitted better than other Africa countries? The answer is nothing. Competition is the best way to simulate economy. Tax the rich more to pay the poor and raise the standard of the living 2 Likes |

The elites are the problem of this country. Dangote is selling a bag of cement at an exorbitant price to Nigerians while in Ghana they dare not overpriced it. We have not elected a truly Nigerian president. |

Before you educate someone like us, please get your facts straight. I can use phone to make calls 24-7 in the US for $20. Try making phone calls in Nigeria with Global Com for N25,000 24hrs a day, 7 days a week for a month. The Telecom are already overpriced in Nigeria and still yet, they are asking for increase in tariffs. Do they pay the same salaries as Americans, nope? So you Sir, defender of Global Com don't know you are being fleeced. Again I ask you, if you are a business person and you can sell for more by exporting, would you be patriotic and sell for less...keeping in mind Dangote is publicly traded and shareholders expect dividend payments ...now if you ask me if I love capitalism...it's debatable but it is what it is.
