Namaster:
Otti is probably the SMARTEST governor in Nigeria at the moment.

He's friends with EVERYBODY while doing tangible projects for his people.

Love the guy. He's the Osinbajo of the East. Short, smart and EXTREMELY productive.
See white washing. 😂

True. Rashford may even rediscover himself and start delivering again. If we have a solid defense and midfield, he won't need to contribute that much defensively

I don’t even want a luxury player like Rashford in the team sef. It creates cracks in the squad. Other players would be thinking, “why should I be the one running around and marking while Rashford loses the ball and strolls around”?

They may be okay with it but when Rashford fails to score in 6 games, no one will want to work while he’s useless.

Even Ronaldo was putting in shifts defensively when he was banging in goals during his first stint at United. It was when his outputs went crazy that he was given some leeway defensively. And even at that, he wasn’t as lazy as this current Rashford

It is already too late to suspend him. This should've happened before the primary election. As it stands today, Jimoh Ibrahim has already taken the case to court and if the apex court eventually nullifies that primary election, APC may not have any candidate in the gubernatorial election of Ondo State.

The conducts of the Nigerian police officers in handling civil case are so poor.
How can they collect bribery for the sole purpose of humiliating people on the street, with no warrant of arrest?
This is a big shame to the Inspector general of police but guess what?

Amen. Congratulations to Nigeria. I think that we should go beyond clinking of glasses, we should complete the necessary documentations and take physical possession of the gained territory, by making the territory a hub of economic activities while we explored the possibility of adjusting our request for more continental shelf to extend our maritime boundaries and make up for the lost territory of the Bakassi Peninsula.

Fubara should have fired them instead to show that he is in charge.

Politics / Re: Labour Rejects ₦48,000, Walks Out Of Minimum Wage Committee Meeting by ositadima1(m): 6:19pm
casualobserver:
Nigeria’s GDP per capita is approximately $2,000. That means the output of the average Nigerian worker is only N3m a year. This is not the lowest worker, this is the average of all workers from cleaner to CEO, meaning the output of the minimum wage worker is a lot less than 3m a year.

Yet this same Nigerian worker wants to earn N600k a month or N7m as a minimum wage. He wants to earn more than his output. No be JUju be that?

The problem with Nigeria is our workers are very unproductive.

In the us the GDP per capita is $70k therefore it makes sense that the minimum wage is $15k.

In the UK GDP per capita is $40,000, minimum wage is $15,700 p.a.

Nigerian workers want to earn more than their output but more than the average output. The Nigerian worker has no business asking for more than N80k per week as a minimum wage based on his output. I understand living conditions but the figures don’t lie. The Nigeria. Worker does not have a productivity level to justify anything above N80k a month minimum wage. It’s actually scary how unproductive our workers are and how inefficient our economy is.

All you said is on point, but mind you, people feel bad that the same people in office who are not contributing much to the economy are collecting extravagant take-home pay. If the government is serious about all this, then they have to adjust money for governance by a lot, a whole lot. There is a lot of waste amidst pervasive poverty.

Africa died from the fall of Biafra. You must have progressed tremendously, much more than today, in your own separate country out of Nigeria, if Biafra had not fallen. Consult knowlegeable people from your side of Nigeria on this.

it seem to me that wike is a good man,
Bros Wike is a good man. Wike doesn't disappoint in any agreement reached with him. Wike is a grassroot politician. Anyone around him gets something from him. He rewards loyalty.
His weakness is quick to anger. He has a reputation for irascibility But very easy to pacify despite his obvious weakness. Overall Wike is a good man compared to other politicians.
Why did he pick Sim?
He believed of all those he worked with Sim tolerated him the most. He believed Sim understood him the most.
Sim to him was the easy to reach and down to earth personality among them. In this case just as the third world countries produce UN secretary general let the humblest of them be made the governor. Secondly Sim has lost of the secrets of the administration.
But there a thing he overlooked. Most of the documents used to fight Amaechi were provided by Sim having also served in Amaechi's administration not too sure on which capacity. How Wike believed that Sim would not go against him as well is a study for another novelty field.
