This is such an outrageous excuse, saying we derailed d thread!!! Should we be mute since dre hasn't been new update from d sch? I wonder who thinks and behaves in such manner, we 've passionately followed d thread tru thick and thin, nt all of us who started have d grace of still following d thread. Bt d only way u tot was ryt in encouraging us was to end d thread, as a wise user here 1nc said, its nt ur fault, rather it's Oau's!!! If nt 4 dier slow calendar do u think its our joy to keep visiting d thread when our other companions in oda schs are preparing 4 exams? In as much as I trully appreciate Nairaland 4 creating a forum 4 us to share and discuss information, it is quite dis-hearting cos d move u made was a clear contrast of wat d owner of d site had in mind when he started d site. As if ending d thread wasn't enough 4 u, u directed us 2 a thread dt is so different frm ours; we been at d threshold of resumption nw have to disturb these 1s trying 2 get good and valuable news as regards hw dey could pass jamb in flying colours. Nw dey will be diverted frm jamb-ish to E-portal palava. Good riddance!!!!!!! Dis a clear abuse of power a lil word 4 u; Lord Ancton 1ns said "power corrupt, bt absolute power corrupt absolutely" an obvious mis-placement of power and priority. Since dre is no way to check ur excesses, we would leave u 2 cont wallowing in ur ignorance. A BRICK SHORT OF A LOAd TWO SANDWISHES SHORT OF A PICNIC!!!!!

JAMB SECRET
tips top pass jamb

Remove FEAR.

Don’t be afraid, the FEAR of JAMB is the beginning of the exam failure.

Don’t listen to rumors or stories of how hard the exam is, after all people pass the exam well. If others can pass, why not you? Be convinced in your ability to pass the exam. This is the first step to success.
Read and revise daily:

You need to have a daily reading and revising time table. It is important to note that students should read according to the syllabus.

Practice:

You need to be conversant with past questions and how they are set. The more you practice, the better you will get, you need to practice past questions at every opportunity you have, indoor or outdoor. Choose practice mode to answer questions and get corrections and results back immediately or try out a mock test mode which simulates actual exam conditions.

EXAMINATIONS (Instructions)

Read instructions carefully, understand it before answering any questions, many students lose precious marks because they don’t pay attention to instructions.

For example question 31-35 of English language exam may ask you to give answers that is nearest in meaning to a given word, while 35 – 40 may ask for opposite in meaning. Many students who over look the instructions of 35-40 and assume its nearest in meaning will lose all 5 marks easily.
EXAMINATION (Questions)

Many students fail JAMB because they do not understand how JAMB sets their questions. A student may ve studied very well but still fail the exam because of not understanding the technique JAMB employs to set questions. JAMB questions vary from EASY, HARD AND POSSIBLE/DISTRACTERS/TIME WASTERS.

EASY questions are the ones you find cheap or relatively easier to answer, they are usually about or almost 1/2 of the total number of fifty questions. We advise you answer the cheap questions before attempting others.

HARD questions are the ones student find difficult, questions that require more reasoning or working out in case of calculations. These are usually 1/4 of total number of questions, they must be tackled keeping in mind time allocated.

DISTRACTERS/TIME WASTERS basically are average but tricky questions, with two or more possible answers. Different type of questions can fall into this category for students taking them, this questions slow down the pace of students which affect their overall performance in the exam.

EXAMINATION (Options)

For each JAMB questions remember that there are ; best answers, partially correct answer, partially wrong answer and worst answers.

e.g
The central focus of commercial activities is
A. pricing
B. advertising
C. trading
D. marketing

The best answer to this question is C, but there is a partially correct answer in D marketing, which students can fall fors, a partially wrong answer is advertising, and the worst answer is pricing.

Students must learn to differentiate their options before answering the questions, this will help in accurately picking the right answer. Students can only be able to do this if they practice past questions well enough

EXAMINATION(malpractices)
Passjamb.com.ng is against exam malpractices and will never encourage students to such, no amount of malpractice can make you develop yourself and knowledge gained can never be lost or stolen. Students should develop their learning ability and capability because their brain is more than able to provide them with what they need to achieve success in their exams.
EXAMINATION (Faith)
Believe in God and in yourself to achieve success.
