Has anyone got information about the 2013/2014 DSSC (navy)? An insider told me there are plans to start the sale of forms next week. All aspiring 2014 naval officers let's meet here.

What's the age limit pls?
Re: Nigerian Navy (DSSC) 2013/2014 by Charlynaira: 4:03pm On Apr 21, 2013
They stated that they would only take those with 2.1 in their previous recruitment, but they ended up in allowing those with 2.2 during the exam. Their reason was that some states might not produce any candidate should they allowe only those with 2.1. I want to encourge all the interested candidates with 2.2 to go ahead and apply should they repeat the similar thing this time. After all many 'ogas' in the niga navy graduated with 2.2 and 3rd class. So many people who wanted to apply in the last recruitment could not do so.

Normal aptitude questions. What really matters is the score of others from your state. If there are many high scores from your state, your cut-off mark will be high and it also could be vice-versa. For example if 20 ppl get 74 from your state and you get 73, your chances are slimmer if they are to invite 25 ppl for interview because you might be more than 5 that may score 73 so your local govt also comes into play due to quota system. And Godfatherism is another heavy factor.

I've written the exam 3 times and 2011 was the first time I scaled thru..

God help us.

The questions are normal Gmat questions which are quite simple. However, ensure you have at your fingertips current affiars and Naval history..etc.

We shall succeed!!!
