Please im in a dilemma and don't know what to do. I hold a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science and just finished service recently . I tried applying for Jobs but it hasn't been fruitful. I also have been sending mails to school to get admissions to study master ( free tution schools in sweden et al) but have been turned down, saying they don't accept HND. More so , Nigeria system hasnt been helping with discrimination against HND. I'm good at what I do but not financially buoyant to go in for a professional certification. Please does an HND + PGD equal Bsc. Can I apply for Jobs requesting Bsc with a PGD or can I use a PGD to apply for masters abroad.

No, it's not equivalent to B.SC but HND + M.SC/M.BA where i work, it may varies in other companies but better go for M.sc to have a say.

Your chances is very slim, companies do not recognize PGD as well here, but am sure with your HND you get admission for MSC abroad, browse schools abroad & see their prerequisite.

Lets be realistic,HND + PGD is equal or halfway better than B.sc.but as the present nations condition is going,is better you have your HND+PGD+M.sc to have a SAY in Nigeria. But my question goes thus "is PGD+M.sc AND B.sc+M.sc the same?"
