It was simpler to follow and understand

I could barely understand my language, so adding Arabic to it was painful--Christianity solved that for me

The was something about Christianity that made you want to know about it, and i found out it was Jesus.

When i heard about the man Christ, He was just too kind for my understanding, and there was just something about Him that captivated me, and that's how i converted.

Since becoming a Christian, i've learnt that it's about relationship between God and myself. "I Dare to Call God Father," i enjoy communication with God. i know a peace that passess my understanding, i'm living right at least i'm learning how to, and it's just very easy. My life isn't what it was--i live my life with a purpose now, and i'm enjoying it. When i pray i know God hears me, it's just wonderful. The funny thing is no one per say, led me to Christ. I guess all the things i'd heard in passing had an effect. But hey! i'm born again, and i'm loving it. Would i do it again? YES!

My reasons were:
1. Had no direction
2. Finished the whole of qua-ran before primary school but still committing sins which i hated
3. I was always encouraged to hate
4. Curious but my curiosities were always misunderstood
5. I love God deeply and was never satisfy with what Islam offered.

I dey laugh oh! what is antagonizing of the link? Just learn to laugh a bit you seem very pained of just the mere fact that a Christian gave a good account of how he left your religion. If you find that link antagonizing then you should also find this entire thread antagaonizing other people like youself, as I don't find any of the conversions tale as any form of pain. Do be advise to soften your heart as you reaction to the tale is very surprising and dissapointing the man made good jokes which should make anybody laugh! but instead you find it heart wrentching. @Pro212: let me just say this; while Islam loses ground in subsahara africa, it is gaining grounds in the western societies. the africans, indeed nigerians converting to christianity are doing so because of poverty. but they fail to see that in christianity, there are poverty stricken people. wealth is not based on religion at all. most of them will not be wealthy anyway. but the disaster that awaits them on The Day of Judgment is worst of it. there is no end to the destruction of their persons.

And I have personal knowledge of Christians with the names of Muhammad, Mahmud, Umar, Hamza, AbdulSalaam, etc.

The good news i have for you is that those Sunday gatherings are becoming rare by the day. They noticed how futile their exercise were. . so guess they decided to follow reasons and concentrate on their already dwindling members who might jump ship anytime to the path of truth, peace and self fulfillment which is Christianity ( christ like living on Earth)
