Only eight people in the world backed Germany to beat Brazil 7-1, one guy wins $46,380 off a $20 punt [Picture]

According to unconfirmed reports, only eight people in the world backed Germany to beat Brazil 7-1 on Tuesday night at the World Cup semifinal with the bookies, and one guy scooped big on a $20 punt.

A screengrab is doing the rounds on social media claiming to show how one punter placed a $20 bet on Sami Khedira scoring anytime against the Brazilians, and for the final score to be 7-1.

The punter received offs of 2319.00, which trousered the winner an astonishing $46,380.

I am coming strictly from my perspective and so do not see how N700k amounts to 'making it'. Its less than a couple of guys monthly take home. That is my point, i have not in anyway suggested that N.7m is not good money, especially when won on a bet, but it does not go beyond the short term.
