After the second republic was ousted in 1983, it took the country four (4) military heads of state and 16 years to return Nigeria to a democracy (Buhari, IBB, Abacha and Abdulsalami). From 1999, it took the country four (4) successive administrations by same party PDP and 16 years to change the ruling party to another one in APC. Could the APC last as the ruling party for the next 16 years?

Also, do not forget it took the President-elect GMB, four attempts to finally win the presidential election, having lost in 2003, 2007, 2011, he won in 2015. Similarly (on a lighter note) GMB is 73 years this year (7-3=4).

The number 4 however, is synonymous with completion, stability and a completion of a cycle. Still coincidence?
