The temperature gauge of my vehicle rises but doesn't to the middle. After sometime it drops down, and later rises but still doesn't get to the middle cos I know it ought to be static at the middle. This fluctuation continues throughout driving for the day.

1. What is the cause of this?
2. What is the side effect of this?
3. What is the solution to this?

Thank you.

Honda CRV 2001 code 0010

Problem: Gear disengages while driving, e.g car would be in drive but not respond to any about of engine torque.

History: steering rack was replaced, which required a transmission drain and refill before it could be achived

Possible causes of problem:

Cloged strainer inside transmission, causing low pressure.

Solutions: drain and re-fill again (done 3rice, didn't work)

Drop gearbox, open check and clean srainer.
