Its funny, there,s no democracy in the world where Opposition is not viewed as an integral part of the polity. For checks, balances or mainly for caution by a ruling party. At times this can get dirty and in Nigeria this has not been an exception. Personally I don't think there's been a more dirty opposition like the one we've seen here in the past.
But amazingly even after winning the elections, APC just seem to have only succeeded in carrying over its past nature into its leadership seat. Call it crudeness, rudeness or stinking talkativeness. Yet any slight criticism against the current ruling party, APC seems to always only get away by with the mere response of 'its just a wailing wailer'. Hope that is not just a merely cheap metaphor for pushing away logical reasonings. Hope the present ruling class get matured enough to accept opposition as a vital part of our polity, that requires positive debating rather than the cheap wiping away of issues with the tricky broom of 'its a wailing wailer. Apc shoulg start accepting criticisms just the way they criticised. They shouldn't be afraid of it nor ridicle criticisms away.
But if however, you truly believe an opponent is only wailing, could you then be regarded as the STINKING POOH that cause the wailing? Should opponents referred to as wailing wailers also therefore respond back with the nickname Stinking POOH? Please share your views
