With the way Nigerians are quickly changing their profile pictures on Facebook, I begin to think that we are more bothered with what happens to other countries than with what happens to our very own country. We pay less attention, we pretend that everything is alright, we chase rats while our houses are on fire. Never a day the world has campaigned for Nigeria over the Bokoharam terror which has claimed thousands of lives and rendered many homeless, I sincerely am sad and sympathize with France but I have just realized that the world cares less about Africa and Africa c less about herself. How about changing our profile pictures with the Nigerian Flag and everyone putting up an update to remind the world of the level of inequality, terror, political unrest, unemployment, absence of basic infrastructures, unhealthy economic policies, injustice, armed forces humiliation and intimidation, glorified level of corruption and any level of corruption you can think of.
