The Idea behind FLEEk Entertainment Group
Fleek Entertainment Group was formed by
group of like minded students from different
universities in Katsina whom have passion for
touching people through entertainment.
“As youth we like entertainment, we live
entertainment. So the whole idea behind Fleek
Entertainment is how to touch people lives
using entertainment”-CEO Fleek ENT.
FLEEK Entertainment is a registered company
with the co-operate affairs commission and the
company will offer services such as
· Event Management Planning [Fleek
Concert, Fleek Comedy, Fleek
Wedding Event Planning, Fleek
Cooperate Event Planning and many
more]
· Fashion Show [Fleek Fashion
Exhibition, Fleek Tailoring Services]
· Clothing line [Fleek Kimono
Jackets, Fleek Abaya, Fleek Kaftans ]
· Fleek Shoes
When asked on conflict of opinion?
“We do understand ourselves, we have studied
each other for a long period of time and we
have been together to the extent now we are
like family. So we don’t have much conflict
agreeing with other, no matter our differences
of opinion we always find a common stand”-
Dikko [Organizing Officer].
Why name the company FLEEK?
“The name FLEEK is an acronym just like SWAG,
FLEEK means On Point, it means what is
trending so basically FLEEK is the higher peak
of swag”-Nasir [CEO].
Why chose to unveil Fleek Entertainment
Group with a concert?
“Concert never happen in Katsina, students are
tired of parties, it is becoming boring, we
wanted fashion exhibition but our audience
really love entertainment, so we decided to try
something new and we came up with a concert
as a way to unveil Fleek Entertainment Group”-
Zainab [Creative Officer].
What was it like connecting with Classiq, &
Meilly Mee?
“Considering how people are now connected
with tech, I connected with Classic through
Instagram, the process was hectic, but thank
God to social media, we later manage to get to
him and we agreed based on terms &
condition, for the records, ClassiQ is coming
down to Katsina State to perform & FLEEK
ENTERTAINMENT made it possible” -CEO.

Usman Barau is the Chief finance officer, and a
brother to one of the invited artist, Mielly Mee,
when asked on how he convinces his brother,
read what he said.
“Miley Mee, is my blood brother, he’s been on
different platforms from Arewa 24, Daily news
papers and so many big media outlets. It was
easy to convince him to come perform in
Katsina, because he always loves Katsina,
always looking for a chance to connect with the
people. Moreover it is an opportunity for him
to meet upcoming indigenous artist”-Usman
Barau [CFO].
When asked why they chose Classic over
Monreal and other artist like DJ AB of YNS?
“We chose Classic over Monreal because
Monreal has a tight scheduled, he cannot make
it to Katsina, we contacted him but due to his
engagement he cannot in anyway make it
possible”-Zainab [CCO]
“Dj AB of YNS was here in Katsina during the
Katsina Legendary Awards . So we decided to
introduce new artist who have never been to
Katsina to perform. DJ AB has huge fans here
in Katsina but we want someone new and that
is why we chose Classic, Mielly Mee &
Kheengz”-Nasir [CEO]
“FLEEK Entertainment is making history for the
first time, Classic, Kings& Miley Mee are going
to perform in Katsina”- Fleek Team [shouted].
When asked whether the concert will be
open to indigenous artist who wish to
perform?
“Of course they will be given a chance to
perform too, the concert is also a chance and a
window for upcoming indigenous artist to
connect with one another and to showcase
their talents to the world. It is going to a kind
of promotion for them”- Habiba [Information
Officer].
The concert is tagged AREWA ENTOURAGE and
the idea of naming the concert with name
Arewa Entourage was given by Sa’adah who is
the risk officer.
“We named it “AREWA ENTOURAGE” because
most of the people attending the concert and
participating are from the northern part of the
country, so we decided to name it AREWA
ENTOURAGE”-Sa’adah [CRO].
What should people expect from Fleek
Entertainment after the concert?
“After the concert we have lots of events
people should expect from us. From our FLEEK
Clothing line [Kimono Jacket, Kaftans, Abaya] to
FLEEK shoes down to FLEEK Events, but like we
said, we are going to surprise people when the
time comes”-Tahir Sagir [CTO].
