india seems to be developing a new anti ship ballistic cum tactical missile code named "PRA**Y" based on shaurya tech. The Shaurya missile is a canister launched hypersonic ballistic cum cruise surface-to-surface tactical missile. It has a range of between 750 to 1,900 km and is capable of carrying a payload of one ton conventional or nuclear warhead. Shaurya is stored in a composite canister, which makes it much easier to store for long periods without maintenance as well as to handle and transport. It also houses the gas generator to eject the missile from the canister before its solid propellant motors take over to hurl it at the intended target. the high-speed, two-stage Shaurya is highly manoeuvrable which also makes it less vulnerable to existing anti-missile defence systems. Shaurya can reach a velocity of Mach 7.5 even at low altitudes. pra**y will sport MEMS, IRNSS, active seekers . Thrust vectoring control is confirmed. it will/may incorporate tech from brahmos. its range may end up around 2000km for targeting ships at sea . it will be more maneuverable than shaurya at around Mach 5-7.5 speed.

China tests hypersonic missile vehicle Pentagon confirms test of aircraft, dubbed the WU-14 and intended to hit targets at speeds of Mach 10 The test makes China the second country after the United States to conduct experimental flights with hypersonic vehicles, a technology that could allow armies to rapidly strike distant targets anywhere around the world. https://www.theguardian.com/science/2014/jan/16/china-tests-hypersonic-missile-vehicle China's New Hypersonic Missile Can Scream Past US Air Defenses It's assumed that the HGV is launched aboard an ICBM, separates from the missile's final stage while still in space, some 62 miles above the planet's surface, and then zooms back into the atmosphere at more than ten times the speed of sound—around mach 10 or 7,680 miles per hour. That's fast enough to enter American airspace before we even react. By comparison, today's cruise missile technology tops out at around 500 to 600 mph.

It's just free open information. If someone feel iritate he must be narcissist,or a real lost puppy? I won' t feel irritate even if the "said "or "likely" competiting country is decades ahead. It's simply the truth.why bother myself. eg: USA or Japan is decades ahead in some technology......no supprise... 1 Like |

Some sensors on the SU-35 shown. If the SU-35 can supercruise at Mach 1.7, what's then is the big deal about the F-22 super-cruising at Mach 2?

Occupant centric platform (OCP) camel The US Army presented today a new concept vehicle designed to explore how to design current and future combat vehicles to better protect the warfighters riding in those vehicles to combat. The Concept for Advanced Military Explosion-Mitigation Land (CAMEL) vehicle designed by the Tank Automotive Research, Development & Engineering Center (TARDEC), demonstrates the ‘Occupant Centric Platform’ (OCP) concepts developed at the center. A 30-ton 8×8-class troop carrier, CAMEL is designed to safely and securely transport nine troops and two crew-members safely and securely. The goal is to reduce combat vehicle casualties well below 50 percent, compared to current combat vehicles.
