A tragic incident occurred in Edu area of Ado- Odo/ Ota local government area of Ogun state south west Nigeria on the 5th of April, 2016 when suspected cultists invaded the home of an aged woman whose grandson was being sought after. It was reported that the cultists came into the house in search of a perceived enemy who they thought was a member of a rival cult group in the area. fortunately for the young man whose name is henry, he had gone back to work at a site in lekki/ Ajah axis of Lagos to continue a POP/ pillar job he was doing after spending the weekend with his grandmother. the attack took place around 4:15am on the morning of Tuesday April 5th, 2016. on sighting the cultists with dangerous weapons such as short guns , daggers and cutlasses, the aged woman who was hypertensive and had issues with diabetes screamed but her mouth was shut by one of the cultists which led to her suffocation. by the time people came around the old woman who was aged 91 was already dead and the entire house had been turned upside down because the hoodlums searched everywhere for their target but could not see him.
rumors flying around in the area confirmed that Henry, is an interior decorator who specialises in Pop ceiling and wall pillar designs. he had an apprentice working with him named Ejiro who unknowingly to henry, was a cultist and had been involved in an attack on rival cult group in recent time. it was in the search for the Ejiro by the rival cult group that information got to them that he (Ejiro) was being shielded and housed by Henry who also doubles as his boss. the boys then, out of desperation for vengeance decided to vent their anger on Mr Henry by invading his family compound thereby sniffing life out of the aged grand mother. The body of the aged woman was deposited at a private morgue in the Badagry area of Lagos state and the incident reported at the Police Station along badagry express way Agbara lagos.
