jephito:The plants seem to be doing well (in my opinion tho), so is it really necessary to apply the fertiliser? And please snap pictures while applying it, wanna see how u re doing it. |
Re: My Cucumber Farming Experience In Lagos by jephito(m): 1:56am On Sep 25, 2016 |
heatflux: Yes they are doing well but will require some more nutrients as they produce fruits. Hence, the need for the fertiliser. Just seeing your comment. Sorry I didn't take pictures. |

If I am planting cucumber on 3 or 4 hectares of land, which is about 7 or 10 acres. Do yiumthink staking will be necessary? The Northern Cucumber farmers, do they have time for staking? |
Re: My Cucumber Farming Experience In Lagos by jephito(m): 9:47am On Sep 28, 2016 |
kybsworld:I wouldn't know if cucumber farmers in the North stake their cucumbers, but note that what you will plant on 3 hectares without trellis will be equivalent to what you plant on 2 hectares with trellis. I guess by now, you understand ONE of the need for trellis |
