Nigeria is a geographical location that Nigerians administrates and occupy predominantly ... what makes up the Nigeria is its people so that without the people there could never have been a Nigeria ... Blood and Sweat flooded in fight for us to govern ourselves - we where governed by foreigners and foreign rules that were not of and from us. For a time the foreign lights was needed, For we were living in the darkness of our minds being aliens to the wheel of advancement rolling in the civilized nations... Were we ripe enough when we began to clamor for self rule? Did we understand in fulness what we were fighting for? What was in our mind when the agitations started? Did the joy of vision of freedom blind us to the reality of Freedom(Responsibility)? Did we push away higher intelligence for our fairly lighted mind? A child most a times hungers for freedom but the Parents knows the best time for their Self government. A child left little too early learns the path of responsibility through pains and many failures.. For us it would have been easier when we govern ourself but we where joined together with others who were at that time not of us ... We were only Children led in Child marriage in a polygamous affair. But too late it is for divorce for it is now 56 years since we were came out from the womb (prematurely)... No doubt Nigeria can be great but there is no country without a people, so we who make up this great nation-Nigeria, can be great when we take up a progressive minded responsi bility for our greatness. Our parent can not take the burden of self rule for us(we fought for it) or perhaps we can return back to them(as the prodigal son), which we cant do -we have our pride ... Blaming and counter-blaming ourselves will never solve our Challenges. Let us all as a people come together and forge a nation Prosperous and Peaceful... In your Individual capacity, live right, do good, respect authority, be selfless ..That which we seek for is possible and It begins with me and you. Since it begins with us, then we owe ourselves the greatest responsibility of understanding, and living our individual purpose for it is with our personal achievements (large and small scale) can our Nation be called great. This is only Possible when we Follow the Way, Live by the Truth and enter Into the Life Of God through the The Son : Jesus Christ the Lord who is the way,the truth and the Life of The Kingdom Of Heaven.
