For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 1:5-8 NIV).

You have a part to play in the direction of God's will to bringing every gift of God in your life to maturity. Despite the fact that God rules in all affairs of men; He needs our cooperation in fulfilling His purpose on earth.

It is not enough for God to give you a husband/wife, you have to make your marriage work by submitting yourself to God's principle for marriage. It is not enough for Him to give you children, it is your responsibility to nurture them in the way of the Lord.

It is not enough for God to give you a good job, ministry, relationship; it is your responsibility to obey God in His principles in terms of commitment, faithfulness and consistency to remain relevant in every position of placement.

It is not enough to accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour; you must continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling to remain on the Lord's side (Phi 2:12). It is not enough to have spiritual gifts, you must always stir it up(2Tim 1:6).

Lord! I receive the grace not to fail in every quest to play my part in becoming who you want me to be in Jesus name. Amen!!!
