Yar’Adua : Guru Maharaj ji wants Senate President to effect constitution

The Founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj ji has called on the Senate president, Senator David Mark to use his office to effect necessary change to have a functional government in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He also called on the Inspector General of Police to arrest all the Aso Rock staff, chief security officer to the president, the transport fleet and those staff in the presidential jet, so that they can be interrogated to tell Nigerians the where abouts of their President and his health.
The statements were copied to the Vice president Jonathan Goodluck, Speaker ,Federal House of Representative ,the Attorney General of the Federation ,President Nigeria Bar Association ,Committee for Defence of Human Rights, Independent Corrupt Practice Commission, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Commissioner of Police Abuja and media houses
These were contained in a separate statement addressed to Senate president, senator David Mark and the Inspector General of Police Mr. Ogbonna Onovo ,which he personally signed and made to Sunday Champion.
The statement noted that One Love family has obsevered that President Yar’Adua has been away from his office for over 30 days, stressing that the unfortunate absence has created unnecessary and dangerous vacuum, for the continuous functioning of that office.
The statement read in part ‘it has become mandatory ,therefore ,that Your Excellence should use your good office to effect the necessary change needed to be put in place .We are not asking your excellence to take a step that is contrary to the country ‘s constitutional arrangement. But, if the vacuum so created is going to affect the smooth running of the affairs of the state, there is nothing wrong in seeking consultation with the Speaker of House of Representative ,Attorney General of Federation and the Vice President to find effective solution of the political Impasse, even if it requires joint resolution of both Houses to normalize this absurdity’
‘Already, there are cracks and delay in the operations of the office of the president that calls for urgent and prompt action on the matter.’
‘Much as we wish Mr. President back hale and hearty at the helms of the affairs quickly, it must be pointed that the nation is far bigger than any individual. The nation must refused to be held to ransom .It is therefore of paramount importance that the business of the nation are not allowed to suffer through the absence of the incumbent president who failed abysmally to hand over to his vice before taking vacation to take care of his health’
‘The mistake has been made, nonetheless ,It is my duty as chief security officer of the world to call us to order so that the ship of the state may not flounder. This is mandatory and urgent ,especially ,when there is no fix time to expect the president back to assume the responsibility of his office .Posterity will not forgive us if we allow that mistake to affect us adversely’.

Some good thinking from Sat Guru, but I am not in support of arresting staffs for interrogation on the whereabouts of our president.
