Remember, pre-2015, we had the fiercest kind of opposition in history, but not once was Jonathan or his ministers humiliated on that so called hallowed chamber that reeks of 'hallowlessness'. We even remember Jonathan locking Tambuwal, as the speaker, out of the assembly complex, yet, he was never booed .

Where do these guys get their justification for the act done to Buhari by the lawmakers from?


NB: Don't give me random pictures of street urchins using various images to describe Jonathan then. We also had worst pictures , images and stories peddled about buhari pre-2015 and that is still on till today. So, Jonathan is not the only victim of these urchins' attack.

My brother, u need to understand the language of politics.

When Jonathan was the President, people did wat they could under a democratic state to undermine his performance and that included burning his effigy, booing him, calling him names like clueless, dullard, etc.

All of these were done democratically because Nigeria as a democratic sovereign state allows u freedom of expression.

Now, all of these things mentioned above were done to Jonathan partly/or fully without exception by Members of House of Rep, Senators, Governors and members of the public.

Now, what bothers me at the moment if that when Buhari gave his first speech at the handing over from Jonathan, the now famous 'I belong to everybody....' people gave rousing ovation to that, when he read the budget in the his first defence he was given a rousing ovation. Now that he presented the budget and some members of the senate did not feel he was worth their ovation, they booed him and people are saying why did they BOO him, why did the same people not ask why they APPLAUDED him in the previous occassion.

This shows that people have selective memory. They choose only what they want to remember and then force it on you.

This is a democratic nation and people should be allowed to express their feelings.

And u never heard of his convoy being stoned?

The question would been:
1. Does Jonathan has the courage to present his Budget at the floor of the house;
2. How many time did he ever lay the budget at the floor?

So your measure of ultimate humiliation is being booed at the National Assembly. Who called who a 'kindergsten' president and other unprintable names?

APC introduced hate as a party policy in their desperation to grab power in 2015 and it will only get worse in the coming days.

why should apc lawmakers be cheering the president at the premises of national assembly at the first instance, is inappropriate for the apc on a card to be doing that at that juncture because it was not a political parties function. hope you condemn that soon.

Budget presentation on d floor of d National Assembly is not a political function, but I could see some idiots chanting "Sai baba". This is shameful to say d least just as those who booed the president are equally despicable.

But if some people had the right to chant "Sai baba" others equally had d right to boo the president.

So we must either commend or condemn the two groups simultaneously.

the chantings (for & against) were wrong & uncalled for.

but if fingers must be pointed, then those who started the hailing are to blame.


for those of us privileged to have been privy to proceedings from the beginning, members of the NAss were listening with relative rapt attention until some members started clapping & hailing PMB for flimsy reasons.

this created an impression of the NAss supporting pmb's speech & invariably, his second term bid & some members had earlier stated that apart for the complimentary applause at the end of the presentation, there should be no hailing or booing. the president should present his budget & go.

but trust buharideens to leave rational reasoning & start hailing, naturally, the other camp countered them.

at the end of the day, all members made a nuisance of themselves.
