The popularity of Natasha Akpoti, the SDP candidate for the Kogi Central Senatorial seat is definitely giving governor Bello and his party APC sleepless nights, especially being the section the governor hails from.

The governor was alleged to have threaten Natasha not to contest or face fire and brimstone. That is already happening. Daily crackdown of supporters of Natasha by the Nigerian police, arresting people for doing nothing, while thugs go from house to house beating people on sighting her poster in your house or knowing that you support her, if it was just beating, it would have being better. The beating is accompanied with matches cuts and bullet wounds. The latest one is the murder of a staunch supporter of Natasha overnight as reported by the Senatorial Candidate herself on her Facebook page.
