The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, on Saturday offered some tips on how godfathers could be tamed in Nigeria’s political space. He based his assertion on the feat he achieved in his state, where he claimed to have defeated and retired four political godfathers.

Having won the 2019 polls against the wish of many godfathers in his state, El-Rufai is confident that godfatherism could be defeated anywhere, including Lagos state.
