baby124: Did you read the bit about a visiting Naval frigate being confiscated?? Please be open to ideas.. Its a global village now with assets which could be tangible and mobile or even intangible, a simple example include financial products . . |

Tedpgrass:Who put our naval warship far into international waters like that? Global village indeed. When we are still battling Boko Haram in our backyard while US is solving Isis issue in another person’s backyard. Are we serious enough to let a naval warship leave our shores? We shouldn’t have assets anywhere because we have no business sending naval ship to international waters and other silly expeditions. |

sureheaven: Idiot it is this present Govt that doesn't want to respect contracts and somehow confusing international arbitration with Nigeria's legal system, where they can just remove a chief judge. Don't worry APC and Buhari's government will go down in history when they incur the biggest damages ever awarded. Well as usual Buhari will form "e no concern" am. |

baby124:No one would do business with you if you pass the law you suggest. Besides, evidence of bribery would have been good defense in this case if such evidence existed (or Nigeria had found any!). |

what's the assurance that they would've been able to operate the business profitably In connivance with a mushroom tribunal, they just want free lunch due to the incomprehensible lack of responsibility of Nigerian government and people in places of obligation. |

$6.6bn for a mere 2000 megawatts of electricity and our refineries are not fully functional. Who entered into this parasitic deal with them? Supply wet gas to them and buy back the by - products from them? What is wrong with the goats in government? |

Iziquiel: I read the post, my information on the matter is way more than what the post mentions. Before the first judgement, the Government did not even get itself together to challenge or even negotiate with the claimant, the previous administration had put that into the handover notes and particularly pointed out the issues at stake, but your president did not appoint ministers until after 6 months, after which the attorney general was busy trying to flex muscle and chase the former attorney general, they did not even appear at the tribunal let alone challenge the accusation. |
