The Former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has cautioned Nigerians to stop attacking Buhari for attending the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation summit a day after he was inaugurated into office for a second term. According to Jonathan, Buhari attended the IOC meeting because Nigeria also suffered terrorist Problems and not to Islamise Nigeria. The objectives of the IOC meeting are for the member countries to unite and work together to combat common challenges such as terrorism and violent extremism that really concerns Nigeria. ” As a Christian and Nigerian President, I attended the OIC meeting in 2013 in Cairo, Egypt.
