The NNPC/Megco Petroleum, is delighted to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the undergraduates, MSc(Masters) and PhD Scholarship in any Nigerian college of education, polytechnic and universities. The NNPC/Megco Petroleum is the Foundation with the mandate of developing indigenous human capacity to meet the needs of less opportuned Nigerian students. The scholarship program hereby invites applications from qualified Nigerian students to apply for the 2020 Undergraduate, Masters and PhD scholarships for students in Nigerian Colleges of Education, polytechnics and universities.

The NNPC/Megco is a body instituted by law, under the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources established for the purpose of developing and promoting education and for creating the human resource needs of the educational system through research and training of Nigerians.

Level / Field of Study
This scholarship program is provided to Nigerians who have interest in pursuing an Undergraduate, masters and PhD degree program in any Nigerian college of education, polytechnic and University.

SCHOLARSHIP WORTH
The scholarship award ranges from N200,000 – N350,000 annually throughout your study year.
Undergraduates Scholarship Award for College of Education Applicants (₦200,000 Annually)
Undergraduates Scholarship Award for Polytechnic Applicants (₦250,000 Annually)
Undergraduates Scholarship Award for University Applicants (₦300,000 Annually)
Masters/Post Graduates Scholarship Award (₦350,000 Annually)

Eligible Nationality
The NNPC/Megco Scholarship 2020 is open to Nigerian students only undertaking any undergraduate courses in any of the Nigerian Colleges of Education, Polytechnics and Universities.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
A). Undergraduate:
Applicants must be full time students in any of the Colleges of Education, Polytechnics or Universities.
Students must have been admitted into the University as at the time of applying.
Evidence of state of origin and local government;
Recent passport photograph
B). MSC. (REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION):
Applicants must possess full time admission letter into any of the Colleges of Education, Polytechnics or Universities
National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate or Letter of exemption;
Applicants must be computer literate;
Evidence of state of origin and local government;
Recent passport photograph
C). PHD (REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION):
Applicants must possess full time admission letter into any of the Colleges of Education, Polytechnics or Universities
National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate or Letter of exemption;
Applicants must be computer literate;
First and Second degree certificates
Valid admission letter
Evidence of state of origin and local government;
PhD research proposal of not more than 6 pages to include topic, introduction, literature review, research question(s), novelty, methodology, mode of data collection(s), expected outcome(s), and appropriate references
Recent passport photograph
