As an independent student researcher, the future of Civil/Structural Engineering is an ever evolving one. Countries are fast moving in the direction of technology of which BIM plays a prominent part of. This informed my decision to take up this research project which goes on to address the reasons why BIM is a necessity for the modern day Engineer.
