Coronavirus was first reported in Nigeria before South Africa, but they have higher case than Nigeria

The case of coronavirus was first reported in Nigeria before South Africa, but as of today, South Africa has higher infection cases than Nigeria. Six new cases of the virus has been confirmed by the South Africa Health Ministry; bringing the total to 13.

The patients which are currently infected are:

1. A 33-year-old female that had travelled to Italy and returned on 1 March

2. A couple - a 34-year-old and a 33-year-old - who travelled to Germany and returned on 9 March

3. A 57-year-old who travelled to Austria and Italy and returned on 8 March

4. A 40-year-old who travelled to Portugal and returned on 7 March

5. A 36-year-old who travelled to multiple countries including Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Turkey. He returned on 9 March.

This is coming few weeks when some unpatriotic South Africans thought that the virus was going to spread real fast in Nigeria.

The major cause of the fast spreading of the coronavirus is in countries like South Africa and Iran is carelessness and unbelieve.

Why carelessness contributes to the spread of the virus is that, when health authorities advice the public on precautions, they take it for granted. They use common sense which is not common to analyse the situation.

For instance, World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) advised people to be careful with the way they handle money, because it could serve as a means of infection, but some will still be careless with the way they handle cash.

According to report, The World Health Organisation (WHO) advised people to use contactless technology instead of cash as banknotes may be spreading coronavirus.

The world health organisation advised people to use contactless payments where possible and stop using cash because of the danger of spreading coronavirus; and to always wash their hands after handling cash which Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) also affirmed.

According to report, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Tuesday advised Nigerians to adopt alternative payment methods like electronic transfers to avoid the spread of Coronavirus.

The CBN Director of Corporate Communications, Mr Isaac Okoroafor, gave the advice in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

This careful method which World Health Organisation and Central Bank of Nigeria adviced people to us will still be taken for granted. Most people will still read meaning to this simple instructions which is where the problem (unbelieve) lies.

Nigerians and maybe Africans are somewhat too religious.

When the first advice came from World Health Organisation, regarding being infected through money, most people try to play it down by using biblical verses. The truth is that, JESUS CHRIST himself knew there was Psalm 91, when the Devil came to tempt him, but he rather reboked the Devil when he came to tempt him.

We know God answers prayers of the faithful, but we should not play down the grace by doubting every important precautions the healthcare agencies passed to us.

Every life is precious before God, therefore don't think it is because of the sin of a particular country that makes the case of coronavirus keeps increasing in the country.

No, it is not; it is human factors that is causing the increase in some countries. And the human factors are CARELESSNESS and UNBELIEVE.

As a good Nigerian, it is your responsibility to spread the news of precautions.

We can't afford to lose any of our loved ones to coronavirus infection.

Please inform others of the precautions to avoid the spread of coronavirus in the country.

Help share this with your loved ones to prevent them from being infected unknowingly!

Coronavirus is real, let's join hands together and contain the spread of the virus before it gets out of hand!

My trip cut short because of this useless virus.
But do we know that hunger is killing more people everyday? The government is scared because the virus gets to the rich and the poor.

Happy thing is they have reduced the price of sushi! !!!! Since no one is coming to their shop anymore .Who wants some?

Anyone noticed how they didn't mention their names to the public? Just their ageand countries they visited.
As learned people, we should be smart enough to know that revealing the identity of these victims can endanger their lives after they are released.
If you actually think Corona virus is not in Nigeria, and the government only want to siphon money via this, then you should go for a check up.

Its karma that's dealing with them for xenophobic attack, the same karma that banished Nnamdi kanu from Nigeria, and also made Johnathan lose second term for supervising the most corrupt tenure in Nigeria.

Summer starts June in the northern hemisphere. That’s more than 70days. Imagine how bad it would get before then
