A small scale vendor on Instagram is still struggling to believe He lost a customer that would have been his biggest client...
.
It all happened when an intending client sent him a DM to know why his products are more expensive.... He took the intending customer as an a not serious window shopper so replied the customer... " if we are talking about the price then you are not my customer, please find cheaper vendors outside here"
..
As simple as those words are, he price shamed his customer not knowing he just placed a big client in the discomfort zone. That customer of his turned out to be a govt agency with the aim of patronizing indigenous vendors..
..
Customer Service and customer satisfaction is made easy when your customers tell you what they want..and it's also made easy to lose customers when you are guilty of poor Customer Experience.
..
When you communicate you always get a reply... Don't lose another customer by sending the wrong info... Explain to your customers, answer questions and always be good.
