A welcome gesture from Lagos state government. We all need to adopt to a sustainable way of life in order to remain healthy. I therefore urge other state governors to emulate this. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Sorry, I wanna ask is it like other states don't have the sense or what? IGR na them, beautifying their state na dem and we hardly hear things like Lagos State workers protesting for unpaid salaries and the likes. Who are the governors of the other 35 states let's leave FCT out of it cos it's you and I that is beautifying and making FCT what it is like today. Another state most especially Ogun, the state with the worst kinda roads. Not even a single road can be pinpointed in Ogun state. Sango, Lambe, Oke-Aro, Agbado, Akute, Ago Iwoye, Ijebu Igbo, Sagamu name, these are happening in towns of this state that can even compare with Lagos in terms of infrastructure and the likes but the reverse is the case. Pardon me no beef with the state or her governor but when I keep going and coming back from work every day passing this dangerous-looking road in Oke-Aro, I kept on wondering does this state have a governor? 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Lagos lead in almost every thing in Nigeria. Getting an employment in Lagos state civil service is better than the so called federal jobs;they hardly owe salaries. In terms of tax policies,ICT,Emergency Response...they are leading. I was on airport road Lugbe ,Abuja when a vehicle went into flames, it took the fire fighting team more than one hour to reach the scene.this responce time is extremely poor and cannot happen in lasgidi despite the traffic challenges. So many fire fighting stations across Lagos and they are still thinking of doing more. If not Allah and also the prompt measures put in place by Lagos state government,Ebola would have ruined this country. They have a structure that works and have greater challenges that any state in Nigeria. The population is making the facilities over stretched..Lagos has too many people from various diversity to cater for...its a home for all. Although I am not comfortable with the security situation in Lagos despite the presence Rapid Response Squad at most junctions. They need to do more in terms of security. 8 Likes |

Nice gesture. We don't take nature and environment serious in this part of the world. The problem with parks In Lagos is insecurity. Go and sit down there to enjoy your self. You will see some hoodlums with dreads moving around the place. If you are a home owner, plant trees, put ornamental flower plants everywhere. Plant canopy shade trees instead of using all these steel and aluminium. Put live flower and plants in most part of your interiors. You will always breath quality air and feel good. I don't know about you, but once I am in a green park, with trees, birds whistling, good vegetation, I tend to think better and have more recollection of thoughts. It also helps in relieving stress. I love my village and I always cherish opportunity to visit and stroll down through low level rainforest and feel nature at its best. 3 Likes |

As much as some of us bash at Tinubu for controlling Lagos state, the state still makes progress while other states just keep embezzling their state allocations and the people from these states trooping into Lagos to overwhelm the infrastructure in the state. Lagos state is still lagging behind in some aspects but it seems to be the only serious state amongst the thirty six states we have. |
