A leading Nigerian logistics company in Lagos, also involve in courier and delivery services wants to recruit a smart, intelligent, and knowledgeable Account/Admin Officer. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Preparing statutory accounts. • Ensuring payments, amounts, and records are correct. • Working with spreadsheets, sales & purchase ledgers, and journals. • Recording and filing cash transactions. • Controlling credit and chasing debt. • Invoice processing and filing. • Processing expense requests for approval. • Bank reconciliation. • Liaising with third-party providers, clients and suppliers. • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation. ADMINISTRATIVE • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports • Develop and maintain a filing system • Update and maintain office policies and procedures • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers • Maintain contact lists • Submit and reconcile expense reports • Office management. KEY SKILLS • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately. • Analytical thinker and problem solver. • Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software. • High level of accuracy. • Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information. • Administrative skills • Proven experience in Administration • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures • Knowledge in the use of accounting application • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint) • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS HND or BSc in relevant discipline. Minimum of 2 years cognate work experience, or OND in relevant discipline with a minimum of 4 years cognate work experience.
