Streaming Apps No Longer Collecting Naira Cards? by COMPAQ(m): 1:59pm On Aug 17, 2022
My YouTube music and Apple music subscriptions ended a few days ago and I noticed that the autopay did not renew the subscription. Both were linked to my Standard Chartered NGN card.

I tried to add my GTB and NGN card but neither of them worked or could even be added to my GooglePay

I know most banks have stopped allowing NGN cards for USD transactions, but since these are priced in Naira I didn't expect them to be impacted.

Has anybody else experienced this and if so any way around?

Spotify is still allowing Nigerian cards and verve cards directly on its site and app. Where the problem seems to be is apps that you pay for via Google play store. I think it's Google that's refusing to accept Nigerian cards
