How long would this unit serve efficiently in terms of years given that its needed mostly 12hrs a day during the day time. This has become very important given the high cost of fuel.

Good morning sir.
The Life span of the battery is 6 -8 years with yearly/biannual maintenance (refilling with distill water).

The panels will deliver 100% capacity for the first 20 - 25 years before declining.

The inverter will continue to work as long as it's not being tampered with (it's self protection).

Good morning Netizens.

Client be weary of who you give your job to, we always tell our clients this secret at The Trills Consulting.

This is a 330W 24V panel dubbed as 540W 40V
This is the evil some set of professionals and business men do.

Stop seeking Canadian Panels!!!

We have safety gadgets, but they make us feel unsafe, add more weight on us and make us inflexible. Thanks for your genuine concerns.

I stopped sharing prices here since I have to update the price every other month because of the unstable economy. I don't want to mislead prospective clients, it's happened in the past I don't want a reoccurrence. Thanks for understanding.

But the current price for 1KVA 220AH Tubular Battery and 3 pieces of 180W New Mono PVs + other installation materials + Installation fee #480K.

For those who have seen our plans, the only thing we exclude is logistics fee.

Kudos to an enterprising undergraduate like you, who had created a niche for himself as solar technician. Some lazy undergraduate are still outside there believing only their certificate that can feed them. They believe only blue-collar jobs are for the illetrates, not know that there is money in those acclaimed dirty jobs. To the OP, keep up the good work. OP, i have some clarifications from you. Why are your products rated in KVA not in KW, because KVA is just an apparent power, that depends solely on the type of load attached to an AC power supply. You claimed 4 , 200w solar panel produces 3.5kva. How is that possible, when the power factor of the load is what determine this. I still prefer to rate your system in kW - real power than KVA. I see most of your system having overated capacity!

Also, I observed that in most of your solar installation, you used low voltage panel -output less than 18v panel , 180w, 200w, etc and not high voltage panel like 250w, 300w, 400w, whose output greater than 35v , especially for 2kva system and above.
Most of the controller used are PWM type only in few cases I'm seeing mppt.

Thanks so much sir for the Compliment.

First, the KVA or KW Is the power of the inverter not the Solar Panel, for inverters rated in KVA, the Title will be in KVA, for example 2.5KVA Solar and Grid Powered Inverter System

This means the inverter is 2.5KVA and it's an on-grid system that also charges with solar panels.

In the picture below, we have a 2.5KVA Solar and Grid Powered Inverter System

• The inverter is a 2.5KVA Smarten Inverter with a power factor of 0.7 making the Output power be (0.7×2500) 1.75KW.

• The Solar Panels is 200W×5 (Parallel connection) will give an output of 1250W under room standard conditions.

Secondly, being an expert in Battery Technology with about 5 years experience.

This is the Summary of Charging a Battery.

The charging voltage must be few voltage higher than the battery voltage and the charging current(Amp(A) the higher the A the higher the rate of charging) must not be too much.
For example

• Phone battery is 3.7V phone chargers are rated 5V and 2A, 4A etc

• Rechargeable Fan battery is 12V Their adaptor are rated 15V 3A, 5A etc

• Laptop Battery is 11.1V - 14.8V Ther adapter is rated 19.5V 5A etc

Meanwhile, a 24V Inverter will charge a 24V battery setup with 28V - 32V the Amps depends on the capacity of the battery, so if 100AH, 10A - 20A.

Therefore, as a professional, if I want to charge

• 12V battery setup, I go for 100W - 180W panels rated 18V 5A
6A
• 24V battery setup, I go for 200W panel rated 32V 6.5A
• 48V battery setup, I go for 200W and above then connect in Series to double voltage 64V etc

PS: Charging battery with high voltage damages the battery!!!

PWM Charge Controller are also good charge controller. We use smart PWM Charge Controller, a particular brand, meanwhile, for PWM charge controller the voltage of the Panels must be close to that of the system because PWM can't convert excess voltage to current unlike MPPT, that's why we used MPPT for systems that requires series connection like 48V battery Setup.

Meanwhile, it's an overstatement to say you've seen most of our plans, we just have few of them here, and that's because we normally review them on a monthly basis, which makes them outdated... In order not to confuse clients we don't post them.

You can find them on my WhatsApp catalogue (my WhatsApp contact is on my profile)

kindly help. I have 5.5kva inverter with 4x 300w solar panel and 2x 230a battery. PWM 60a controller but whenever I charged it with solar panels, it doesn’t last long. Even when it’s 100% charges. Pls what could have happen?

Let's talk about Loads

To enjoy your Inverter System for longer hours, it's better you make use of energy saving electronics.

The basic loads first.

Fan, Lightings, TV and Fridge

FAN
We have Standing Fan, Wall fan and ceiling fan.
Then we have Electric Fan, Solar Fan/Recharge Fan (AC/DC Fan)

• Ceiling Fan
72" - 100W
60" - 92W
48" - 75W

• Electric Standing Fan
18" - 60W
20" - 90W
26" - 140W

• AC/DC Standing Fan
QASA YOGA 18" - 35W
Lontor 18" - 45W

From the above information, we can see that the least watt there is the QASA YOGA 18 " standing fan

If a 48" ceiling fan spends 8 hours on an inverter system, the above standing fan will spend 16 hours plus.

Lightings
We have energy saving Bulb (Led Light) - 10W, 12W, 15W, 29W etc

The Edison Bulb - 60W, 100W.

TV
LCD
32" - 70W

Led TV -
32" - 55W

Fridge
Normal Fridge - 130W

Energy saving Fridge - 72W

Air Conditioner

Go for Inverter AC

In case you need the QASA AC/DC fan, it's #23,500, you can message me on WhatsApp to get it.
In the image below, I delivered 4 to a client who had recently gone solar, but his system doesn't last long, because of his loads, so he followed my advise, got four of the fans and he is enjoying his system now.

I might just drop the details here, when it's been solved.

He messaged me on WhatsApp, and here is the Summary of the conversation

Him: I have 5.5kva inverter with 4x 300w solar panel and 2x 230a battery. PWM 60a controller but whenever I charged it with solar panels, it doesn’t last long. Even when it’s 100% charges. Pls what could have happen?

Me: Since it charges well with Electricity, the battery is ok.

Him: Yes

Then after some minutes of experiment we found out the Charge Controller is not displaying the true voltage of the battery but the mean voltage same with the inverter.

Mean voltage here is - Voltage of the Solar panels + that of the battery divided by 2. Under sunlight it's always greater than the battery voltage, and at evening time, the real voltage will be displayed, especially when one place load on the inverter.

So the solution is to use a better charge controller and add Breakers.

Complete house wiring for this building, we are done with the cemented part and also the earthing done as seen in the picture, most electricitian skip that, but it's important. Piping done for the yet to be cemented part, this job will be finished by Saturday.

Focusing on quality, building a world class brand.

For the socket outlets: we used 2.5mm

For the Lightings: we used 1.5mm

For the loads: we used 10mm

For the AC input: we used 10mm.

Coleman cables 100% copper
