The federal government is to champion the extension of rail lines from land-locked countries to coastal states of Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana and other African countries as part of efforts to sufficiently benefit from the opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). https://dailytrust.com/nigeria-wants-landlocked-west-african-countries-linked-to-railway 4 Likes 1 Share

To those who ignorantly believe Buhari is just trying to please his Fulani brothers in Niger Republic Buhari has foresight. Those countries have no sea so they have to rely on seaport of neighboring countries. 55 Likes 2 Shares |

It is all this unnecessary linking with Chad and Niger that is fueling insecurity in Nigeria. Nigeria is supposed to be looking for ways to enact stricter boarder control along it's northern boarders.. I hate this administration like mad Wetin Niger dey produce sef ? You never fit enhance diplomatic ties with countries like Benin, Cameroon na Sahel countries wey no get anything naim you dey spend money build train for.... How did we get here. I'm seriously fuming right now 59 Likes |

A NOVEL IDEA. BRILLIANT. Only infested dead brain cells people would not see the fantastic import and economic implication of this innovation. IT IS NIGERIAN'S BOLD ATTEMPT FOR DOMINANCE IN COMMERCE AND ECONOMIC PROMINENCE IN THE REGION. President Buhari certainly has this under wrap. 10 Likes 1 Share |

CaptainAyub: But you just admitted Lagos is linked with Benin now .....isn't road infrastructure? Vex go jump into Lagoon now. There's West African highway from Lagos to Abidjan.....it's not a problem since its in the south There's West African gas pipeline from Nigeria to Ivory coast.....it's not a problem since its in the south But you have a problem with linking Nigeria with Niger because its in the north abi? Everything done in the south is right But anything done in the north must be wrong. Reason am now.....no just vex, use your brain 12 Likes 1 Share |

I was just thinking about this last night: If Buhari had gotten security right, he easily would have been the best president the country ever had. Some of this infrastructures (if properly maintained and improved upon) will be there to serve this generation and the next If only the dunderheads of APC gave Osibanjo the ticket, the election would be over before it even started! 7 Likes 1 Share |
