Can someone recommend a very good optometrist for me. I need that contact lens urgently!

I started using contact almost 2months ago and am glad i did. I was using glasses 4 almost 18yrs and i prefer contact 2glasses now.
But my questions r, how do you clean your contact lens? Nd how often shd the solutions be changed? Pz i need a reply 2ds Qs.

Don't get them cheap because of your medical issues, go to a reputable eye clinic and have them measure and order for you.

Your contact-lens provider should have taught you this. Its a technique.
Previously protein deposit removal tablets where recommended but currently contact lens cleaning solutions have this as essential ingredients.

There is nothing any eye specialist /doctor can tell me.....I can never agree to use contact lens....even the thought of putting something in my eyes scares me,,,I dey even fear when I see it in someone else eyes

Pls for Whatever Reason, DO NOT GO TO BED WITH YOUR CONTACT LENSES. Why do you need contact lenses in bed anyway, do you have eye problems in your dreams too? When they say a lens lasts for a month, it doesn't mean you should leave it in your eye for a month, it just means it can be used and reused for a Month.

A very beautiful young lady Just had her eyeball removed the other day due to complications of corneal ulcer caused by misuse of contacts made worse by the fact she was just wearing contacts for cosmesis. What a waste.

Please don't play with your life. Those contacts breathable or Not are "Foreign Bodies". Ask any Doctor or even a Med student causes of corneal ulcers and you'll hear Corneal Foreign body amongst many others. Please o, be careful sister.

There are extended wear lenses which are very safe. I have been using contacts for about 4 years now (taking them out every night), been wearing glasses since I was 3 and I tell you that discovering extended wear lenses has been the best experience ever. waking up to go to bathroom and not stretching to look for my glasses, being able to fall asleep watching tv without having to think of my glasses... only people who have worn glasses for 25 years + will appreciate the bliss. lol

It is important however to take them out atleast once a week to let your eyes rest for like a full day and have regular check ups with your optician. Take no chances when using contacts, wash your hands, change tho solution often etc... I will just say dryness of the eyes may be a side effect but there's eye drops for this. just be sure to take out the contacts often enough
