Marketing Manager/Advisor/Specialist- Port Harcourt

Our client is a high-performance organization with business interest in Real Estate, Hospitality and Alternative Education services for over a decade. They are building and exploring new markets with an expanded product and service offering within their specialty sector. The organization is comprised of highly dynamic and diverse management team that supports and rewards broad non-conventional thinkers, doers and result driven individuals with interest in technology, people and establishing new order of doing business within existing and new markets. Teams within the organisation are collaborative, dynamic, data/intuitive driven, young, and fast paced.

We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team at the Port Harcourt office with option for remote work opportunity subject to prevailing work condition, teams work preferences and consent.

The Candidate:
The candidate we seek is a natural marketer with qualities of a maven and flare for connecting people and building networks anywhere people are found. The ideal candidate shall be versatile, social, result and self-driven, independent, confident, resilient, analytical and creative with the ability to use data to make quick and efficient business focused decision. The candidate shall have strong social media presence of not less than 2,000 followers, advertising capability and experience in developing relevant industry content; defining the customer journey and channel strategy; and testing and analyzing performance.

Role:
The role will develop, implement, and measure marketing and sales enablement strategies to incorporating integrated digital marketing and brand strategies, roadmaps, and campaigns to accelerate brand awareness, customer acquisition and revenue growth goals.

Tracking and analysing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget, and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity.
• Hands-on experience with web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects. Build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.
Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
• Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition/advertising channels like content creation, content curation, pay-per-click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation
Develop and implement marketing strategies based on business goals, market analysis and media mix modelling.
• Lead generation - identify customer growth opportunities and generate leads through digital, physical, electronic, and social media marketing activities.
• Define customer target segments and develop, execute, and manage campaigns to drive online traffic and engagement across omni-channel platforms and print media.
• Execution of physical (bill boards), digital, and social media marketing and thought leadership content that drives brand performance.
• Develop metrics to measure insights into potential and existing customers to build new business opportunities.
• Measure and analyse weekly performance, insights, and testing across all campaigns.
• Enable sales managers by providing impactful marketing content and campaigns to achieve sales goals.
• Data driven performance marketing to increase website and mobile traffic, quality lead generation, enhance user journey and experience, improve conversion rates, and build brand recognition and customer engagement.
• Reporting and analysis – evaluate online campaign performance.
• Optimize automation to improve email marketing and website conversion optimization.
• Knowledge of website development and marketing
Experience:
• 7+ years of professional experience in a Marketing role
• Knowledge or experience in social, electronic, print media advertising. Previous experience in educational services and products, international admission is an advantage.
• Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate.
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics,
• Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
• Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• Excellent communication skills and Team Player
• Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking

Level of studies: Diploma, Bachelor, or Master’s degree in Marketing or similar discipline
