Yahoo Boy was sentenced by the court to five years in prison for defrauding $400. Olanrewaju Temitope, a young man, was sentenced to five years in prison for internet fraud. The defendant was charged with one count of potential cybercrime by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). In a statement released in Abuja, EFCC Spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren stated that Temitope had been found guilty by Justice A.A. Bello. The anti-graft organization claims that the prisoner was apprehended during a sting operation at his hideout, which was located on Joel Bala Street in Gbagyi Villa, Kaduna.
