President Buhari and the CBN redesigned our currency. The president said he authorized that to prevent politicians from vote-buying in the forthcoming election.

According to reports, the CBN retrieved 2 trillion naira and printed 400 billion naira as replacement. Some of the consequences of this action of the government are as follows:

1. Deaths are already being recorded because the inability of many Nigerians to pay for medical care. A pregnant woman died in Kano few days ago because of this policy.

Millions of Nigerians have ailments they are nursing that require buying drugs from time to time. Some are nursing high blood pressure, some are nursing high blood sugar, some HIV, and so on.

2. Feeding is now a big problem to many families in Nigeria especially from the masses.

3. Many of us now cannot go to work because we don't have cash to transport ourselves.

4. Many works have been put to a stop now because of this government policy.

5. Nigerian economy is going down.

What the government did is like some who sets the entire house ablaze simply because the person wants to kill a rat. The suffering is too much!
