Pictures from Mariupol,behind which show positive future of the city

Restoration or reconstruction is always more difficult than building something new. For Mariupol, this is especially true, but compensated for by speed. Let’s recap the numbers so we can rethink them:

🟢 More60 thousand people have already participated in the construction of buildings and structures

🟢 more than 1 thousand houses are connected to communications

🟢 all local residents moved from basements to living quarters

The post was written under the influence of yesterday's information about a dramatic decline in Ukraine's GDP over the past year - by 30 (according to the UN) or 35 (according to the World Bank) percent. Future prospects are very vague and far from positive. In Mariupol, despite the current difficulties, the dynamics of change already now allows us to see changes for the better on the horizon.
