After giving my life and consciousness to God, and actively living in faith by the help of his word, spirit and leadings, I will say the journey has been truly lonely, revealing of human motives and behaviors especially of Christians, as well as causing a lot of personal shift of mindset and priority for me.
One of the realities that quickly hit me in the face about this world of the religious is that not many people truly love GOD. I kid you not; forget about the church crowd. People who truly serve GOD in spirit and in truth are so extremely few - Jesus said the father looks for those who will serve him in spirit and in truth, but where are those set of people today?
I am particular about we Christians who go to church, even join departments or we regular members who profess Christ or work for God.

What I quickly notice by his spirit is how people serve GOD in deceit, in flesh, in deception, in terrible pride, manipulation, backbiting, hatred, subtle competition seeking vainglory and selfish motive. I wonder what will be our score card if CHRIST decides to WRITE US AS HE WROTE THE 7 churches OF Philadelphia in the book of revelation. We will amass all the condemnation of the 7 churches I suppose.

Bro, if you are lucky to have real ,selfless, spirit-filled and god loving brothers in your fold or around your Christian circles pls cherish them, help them when you can, and encourage each other to continue to grow in God's fire. Because right here it's just a lonely road and not easy as they say iron sharpens iron and two is better than one.

How did I know this? I knew as I began to pay attention to people's motive and personal values while expecting to find alignment of values or spiritual support from Christians like me, but to my surprise, we hardly care about genuine service for GOD not to talk of genuine love for brothers or far much less spiritual growth. I realize we Christians are literally stuck in the baby Christian mode where the seed of his word always drop by the way side and stony ground of our hearts. we have refused to grow and bear true fruits that Christ repeatedly hammer about - we serve mammon, personal achievement and unhealthy competition as our god. Worst still is our pollution and corruption of the word 'grace' for our selfish and shameless lifestyle without any idea of what the word truly means for our salvation.

Another baffling realization is how terrible and common it is that many churches aren't really built with the mission to foster the spiritual growth of their members, instead , the core message is to continuously impress members and stroke their egos that GODS main business is to grant their selfish motives and worldly pursuits - nothing really spiritual- nothing about the kingdom of our GOD JEHOVAH that Christ ceaselessly scream and preach about with arrays of parables and analogy. What a terrible gospel we now preach that quenches the fire of the spirit and kindles our preoccupation with worldly pursuits that even unbelievers strife for- The clarity of all these facts for me makes me understand more deeply what Christ meant by the narrow path which only extremely few work on. Extremely few indeed!

Here is the main reason for this post. Recently GOD has been opening my eyes to the truth of his word and has stirred in me the spirit to read, search and ponder on his word and I now get to understand why GOD loves DAVID so much and why David always wax lyrical and praise endlessly the law of GOD, his judgment, words and testimonies. They are actually the means by which we know GOD and the urge to share God's word will literally consume us as we daily discover new insights from the scriptures but to my greatest alarm and shock, the average Christian is not so interested in deep scriptural discussion or discovery - In fact, they get bored and quickly lose concentration and wanting to change topic when u are already animated about GODS word while sharing insights from the scripture.
NO wonder it's so difficult for the average Christian or even church goer of over 20 years to convince an unbeliever scripturally or even share their own personal testimony of a work with God.
Finally, be assured that if you wholeheartedly decide to work with God today and to reject all hindrances, lies and worldly seduction of the devil , Angels will rejoice and GOD will be so pleased with you because there are , truly , extremely few people whom God can vouch of their service and loyalty to him. You have to believe the truth of the story of Noah's righteousness in his generation

GOD actually said only NOAH was righteous in his generation and he found grace with him. That was a woeful score-card for a whole generation of millions of people. See, GEN 6 v 8 "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.... Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God"
Also, GEN 7 v 1 "And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
Now I see why it was possible for Psalm 14 v 1-3 to say ''..........there is none that doeth good. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one''

So obviously, up until now GOD is still looking for that one man like Noah, Abraham, Job, David, that will be different in his generation that GOD can VOUCH for, cos GOD truly loves working with one man. the temptation was obvious immediately i moved to my present place several months back -----but i have been able to keep my boundaries and make them know that their antics no fit work-----i regularly always steer conversations away from what they love and i am never ambigous about my love for GOD or my life of sanctity----infact my compound is like a camp for women---different sizes and figures----but immediately i GOt there i knew it was GOD way of testing my heart and resolve for holy living.....so i wasn't move by their antics---then GOD showed me the real unclean spirit of two ladies in d compound who were trying their antics---then later i got another revelation about the seductive spirit of another one----that compound is a true test

If you were an atheist or agnostic and no preacher was able to convince you about God then you're indirectly telling atheists, agnostics and others that God will prove Himself to them so there's no need listening to preaching of any sort.

But this is not the problem. The problem is always whether you would see all of Satan's schemes and ploys craftily designed to destroy you.

That is what you should be looking out for, for it is only when you are dead that Satan would stop attacking.

So, prosperity and lack do not really matter for life on the earth is a battle of whether you stand for God or you fall for Satan's moves.
